Ann Dittmar’s practice is focused on general civil litigation with an emphasis in family law matters. As a former staff attorney to the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois for seven years and a private practice attorney for over twenty-six years, Attorney Dittmar offers strong legal advocacy, preparedness and compassion in successfully moving cases along to completion in a timely and efficient manner.
Attorney Dittmar serves on the arbitration panel in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit and has served on the Board of Directors for the Winnebago County Bar Association. Attorney Dittmar has chaired the Federal Law Section, the Family Law Section, the Public Relations Committee and the Women’s Bar Association of the Winnebago County Bar Association. Attorney Dittmar has served as an officer on the Board of Directors for the Rockford Rescue Mission for over eleven years and was a member of the Board of Directors of Family Counseling Services. Attorney Dittmar has tried cases in the circuit court, the State appellate court, the Federal Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
